SPECIAL CHRISTMAS THE LITTLE SHEPHERD IN VIRGIN OF HOPE HOME OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE PRESIDENCY

On December 15, our Director in collaboration with 5 young of Project JOEL: Kevin,Samael, Melvin Fernando, Cecilia Maria and Estefani visited the VIRGIN OF HOPE HOME located in San Jose Pinula to present the Christmas video "The Little Shepherd" 527 children and young attended this activity, where they participated and also received the booklet "MY LITTLE BOOK OF COUNSELING" and "The CHALLENGE OF BEING YOUNG" and "I WANT TO BE IN THE LIFE"

Each one of the young of JOEL shared with all them about the experience of trust their lives to God, inviting them to do the same. It was surprising to see that they listened with great interest, congratulated and applauded. We are sure that God used the words of these volunteers young to transform the lives of children and adolescents who are being held in this home.

We thank to Claudia Sosa, Psychologist, sister of the Christ the King Lutheran Church, the opportunity that we had to present the message of hope that is in Christ Jesus through the video The Little Shepherd. She works at this place and she was the person to perform this activity, God Bless to you, Dear Claudia!

Gabriela Fernández, Assistant Manager Technical thanked our Director the activity which she described as excellent, motivating, encourage and as a guide to the people may to have a better quality of life with the help of God. She also invited to the Ministry continue to support this kind of acitvities for the 2012.

We thank God because we can return to work in this Home. Pray for us so we can reach these children and youth for Christ.

TV CHRISTMAS, SPECIAL PROMOTION

On December 14 and 16, 2011, with the help of JOEL's volunteers , CPTLN distributed flyers announcing the broadcasting of our TV Christmas Specials: The Little Shepherd and The City that Forgot Christmas, in Barrio San José, Zone 7 and in Barrio San Martin, Zone 6.

Again this very important TV Company, Channel 13, gave us the space to broadcast and our Christmas Specials scheduled for Saturday December 17 starting at 7:00 am, also provided air time during the week before to announced these specials to the viewers We are very thankfully with this TV Company for their valuable support!

During the delivery of flyers in these two places, we provide to 435 children the booklet "MY LITTLE BOOK OF COUNSELING" and invited them to not miss the transmission of our Christmas Specials. We delivered for adults the booklet "Christmas and special Christmas Prayer". Many of them congratulated us for the work that our ministry is doing in Guatemala through this materials that promotes the true meaning of Christmas.

We pray God that all the people who received these materials can see His marvelous light and find hope for their lives.

SUNDAY SCHOOL AT CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH

Our Director is an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Guatemala City. This month is in charge of the little ones from 0 to 6 years of Sunday School. She enjoys teaching in many ways to the little ones about the Message of Hope. This Sunday, December 11 she used the movie "The Song of the Angel" Querubin series. The little children sang along to Querubin "Glory to God in the highest la la la la la la la, that guides us with pure light la la la la la la". Prepared their Christmas tree and colored the lesson 4 of CPTLN Bible Study for children titled "My Gift of Christmas."
Our director gives thanks to God for the opportunity she has to serve these children and feel like one of them! Ozani Marsela, her second daughter helped her.

TAMAL FESTIVAL OUTREACH AND EVANGELISM

Project Your Person, is an organization that promotes the well-being of the Guatemalan family. The good relations that exist between Organizations like this one and Christ For All The Nations has allowed us to participate in special events they do.

The Tamal Festival was an event that more than a thousand people attended on Saturday December 10, this activity took place in Gerona Sports Complex localet in Zone 1 of the Capital City.From 10 am to 4 pm, staff members and CPTLN's volunteers were able to share the Message of Hope that is in Jesuschrist through booklets, counseling and prays. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness of our ministry, contact new people, raise funds and recruit new volunteers.

Most attendees at this event got booklets on various topics as well as Christmas Prayer and Christmas booklet.The event included a competition for the best tamal elaborate; CPTLN gave special gifts from our Christian Bookstore to the winners of the first, second and third place, ther was also presentation of various artists, music and contests. Lic. de Coto from Project Your Person presented a certificate of recognition and a medal to our Director with these words: "We are very thankful to God for the participation of Christ For All The Nations in the events we do, we know that the spiritual help they provide is the most important thing, that is why I can say that in 2012 Christ for All The Nations will be present at every event of Project Your Person, God bless you "Our Director thanked to the volunteers and staff who assisted in this activity for taking their free time to join us.

PASTOR SALOMON GUDIEL OF LUTHERAN CHURCH EL BUEN SAMARITANO CALLED TO GLORY

On December 8, our Director attended in the company of Mrs. Nury Milian from CCCS the funeral and burial of our dear brother Salomon Gudiel, who for many years faithfully pastored the Good Samaritan Lutheran Church in San Marcos.

Pastor Byron Paz from Christ The Saviro Lutheran Church from Puerto Barrios led a special service before being taken to the cementery, Pastor Luis Jasinto from The Resurrection Lutheran Church, Gualán accompanied with music, the Rev.David Rodriguez of Christ the King Lutheran Church preached and Pastor Eduardo Bonilla CONLUT's Presidente made the closing prayer. Our Director and Mrs. Nuri sang special songs in the moments of the funeral for the edification of all present.

Our director gave to all the people who attended the funeal the booklet "STRENGTH FOR HARD TIMES" accompanied by words of encouragement.

We pray that God will strengthen the faith of our dear sister Marcolfa, wife of Pastor Salomon and her beloved daughter Percy, and their beloved grandchildren and family.

WHO IS JESUS? DECEMBER BIBLE COURSE

This Saturday December 10 the group met to attendthe Bible Study Who is Jesus? led by our trusty friend and brother Fernando Zapon, CPTLN's volunteer.

After exposure of the study they shared a cake to celebrate the birthday of our friend Julio, who received a CD of Christmas music given to him from CPTLN, he thanked to CPTLN the nice gift, celebrating and thanking God for another year of life.

Our next meeting will be in January 2012. We thank God for the efforts of brother Fernando and for the lives of the members of this group. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

CONFERENCE FOR MARRIAGE IN CHRIST THE SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH IN PUERTO BARRIOS

The pastor of this congregation Byron Paz invited the couple Franco Hernández to provide counseling to the marriages of this Church. A retreat was organized for this and other activities intended to strengthen relations between the members of this Church in El Faro Retreat Center, December 3 and 4.
The psychological area of the subject was addressed by Mr. Carlos Franco and our Director based his guidance on the points raised in CPTLN's Bible Course The keys of a Happy Family. In a tropical and natural enviroment this church brothers happily participated in all activities scheduled by Pastor Paz .

The people who particpated on the group exercises led by Carlos Franco said: This exercise was good for us, we never had time before to talk about our personal situation with our brothers and sister in Jesuschrist, we can say that we know each other better now, and wecan help us each other too.

Our director gives thanks to God because in this way Christ For All The Nations can provide a better help for Lutheran Churches.This visit was a blessing for Franco Hernández Marriage too. De Franco congratulated to Pastor Paz for such a good initiative, interest and love for his congregation.

VACACION BIBLE SCHOOL IN ALAMEDA NORTE ZONA 18

Christ For All The Nations donated "My little book of Counseling" booklets to a Christian youth group lead by Miss Priscila Avendaño who conducted a Vacation Bible School "JESUS MY SUPER HERO" in Colonia Alameda Norte Zone 18.

The activity was 28 November to 2 December, approximately 80 children attended this event. This activity included: music, games, crafts and the most important thing was the Word of God.We are rejoice to be a blessing, sharing our material to those who are willing to proclaim the Message of Hope!

BILINGUAL VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL SPANISH / USPANTECO "THE TRAIN OF THE GOOD NEWS" IN ALDEA LAS PACAYAS, QUICHE

Everything we made to proclaim the message of hope, it's worth!This is the ninth consecutive year we did this program. This time our Director accompanied by five young Christian volunteers. We arrived to this place on Sunday 20 to Saturday 26 November.
This year the program was conducted on the building of Christ The Way Lutheran Church in cooperation of Efrain Carrillo who is in charged of CCCS scolarship program and an active member of this congregation. 10 volunteers of this church contributed as well. Two journeys of this programs were develoving, in the morning with children from 3 to 9 years and in the afternoon with children from 10 to 17 years. Approximately 300 children participated, with the help of sisters of this congregation every day children tasted nutritive hot drink: incaparina. Tuesday and Thursday night there was a special program for 17 to 25 years. 34 young people attended, who received orientation and youth counseling. It was very encouraging to see young population in this group. 9 years ago when we started this program, they were just a litte children, Jazmin shared with us, "Before I met you and came to this program, my life had no meaning. Now I'm know that I am someone very special and valuable to God, I know He loves me and always take care of me, God bless you" Friday 25 at night we presented a Christian film for all age, approximately 125 people attended.Vacation Bible School ended on Friday 25 with a joyful celebration. Children from two journeys went out to walk on the main road from the village singing "I am in the Train of The Good News", villagers witnessed with joy and wonder at the parade. For us it was very important that the children go out and share what God taught them this week.
We thank God for all the beautiful people who collaborated as a volunteers. CCCS brothers, thanks for the purchase of the milk used to prepare the Incaparina. We also appreciate the valuable assistance in translating Spanish / Uspanteco of brother Cristobal Carrillo from Lutheran Community Center.Our Director delivered 100 children's Bible courses Volume I and II brother Efrain Carrillo as material that can be used to provide Christian education to children wishing to attend on Sunday to the Church Christ The Way. Every day the children participated in this program, were invited to come to this Lutheran Church and receive this Bible course. We pray that God permits the growth of this congregation.Our Director CPLTN delivered on behalf of a certificate of recognition to all the volunteers who helped us in this program

VISIT TO CONCORDIA LUTHERAN CHURCH IN PULLMAN, WA

The Lutheran Church invited our Director and Pastor Byron Paz to visit and share the ministerial work of CPTLN and Christ The Savior Lutheran Church in Puerto Barrios during the celebration of Mission Sunday service 2011 that took place on Sunday November 6. This was a wonderful experience and a blessing for all, it was a great opportunity to strengthen relations with this Church who is sending every other year Mission Groups to support CPTLN work and Christ The Savior Lutheran Church. These mission groups have been led wisely and lovely for Ann and Mark Summerson.This missionary groups have collaborated in the process of remodeling the Lutheran Community Center, also conducting Vacation Bible Schools in the Integral Lutheran School in Puerto Barrios and Lutheran Community Center, where native Garifuna people live.On Saturday November 5 in the morning as part of cultural exchange and fraternity our Director lead the preparation of a Guatemala dish called Jocom. Many members of this church participated in the preparation of this dish including Pastor Dudley Nolting and his wife Elizabeth, the dish was prepared with a soundtrack on the back with marimba native music. Mrs. Teresa C. Fairow, LHM fundraiser, who lives in Portland, also came over and worked happily in the preparation of this dish. This dish served lunch for the whole congregation after the Sunday service missionary.The same day in the evening, the Mission Group will travel to Guatemala in March 2012 held its first planning meeting attended by our Director and Pastor Paz. It was nice to see faces of people who have done this mission trip years earlier and gave us joy to see new faces of missionaries who want to visit next year. The pastor Dudley will also come!On Sunday, November 6 was a wonderful day, the congregation was very friendly and lovely with us, listened carefully and joy to the information that our Director and Pastor Paz presented. This was a great opportunity to express to this Church our gratitude for their support. Teresa also spoke thanking them and encouraging them for continue providing their support to LHM Guatemala.

On Monday, October 31 our Director went to the Christ The King Lutheran Church where there was the Causes and Consequences 95 thesis by Martin Luther Conference proclaimed October 31, 1517.

This interesting lecture was given by Dr. Regina Wagner Henn and treated on the beginnings and development of the Catholic Church and the papacy, the religious life in the Middle Ages, the internal reforms in the hierarchical organization of the Church.

CPTLN enjoy to participate in these activities that are of great blessing and remember the verse from the Word of God says, "For we cannot buy speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts 4:20

The Embassy of the United States of America in Guatemala invited our Director to this interesting conference developed in Galileo University building; this important information that supports the prevention work leaded to students of public institutions, that Christ For All The Nations have been developing through Project JOEL.The conference was given by Dr. James Copple, with a doctorate in Education from the University of Kansas. It is also a writer and has a long career working with youth and education, an expert in preventing youth violence, substance abuse and youth justice among others.We thank God that we have distinguished ourselves as a responsible Christian Organization who works in prevention through Project JOEL this invitation and participation at these events, prepare us to be efficient in our preventive work. Rebeca de Franco was able to give to the attendees at this event, who are directors or part of organizations working on prevention in Guatemala, of the booklets "Overcoming Drug Consume" and "Alcoholism" promoting CPTLN's work.

SEMINAR FOR LATINAMERICAN LUTHERAN PASTORS LEADING BY LUTHERAN ACADEMY OF ST.LOUIS MISSOURI

Daniel Preus, Director and President of the Lutheran Academy in St. Lous Missouri, came to Guatemala to lead a seminar for Latinamerican Lutheran pastors, on October 6, 2011, our Director had the opportunity to share information with them about CPTLN Guatemala and provide the opportunity to acquire Concordia Publishing literature that promotes our Christian bookstore. Rebeca de Franco delivered an envelope to each of them with booklets of different topics about how to face with success the dayly life problems and gave them the Little Shepherd DVD.

De Franco encouraged all of them to move forward to accomplish the Great Comission leading their churches: De Franco sent blessings to all their congregations.

She and her husband Carlos Franco had the privilege of being servants for this worship, Sunday October 30. This church celebrated with joy together with the Epiphany German Lutheran Church in Guatemala. This worship were lead by: Markus B?ttcher pastor of Epiphany Church, Dr. Luis Velilla of Christ the King, Rev. David Rodriguez of Christo the King. Escolania choir, the adult choir of Christ the King and the bronze group integrated by musicians from both churches were responsible for a beautiful and commemorative praise. In the pictures you can see the special decoration set upo by the ladies of Christ the King.

On Friday, October 28 Rebeca de Franco was invited to lunch by the closing of the students in this Lutheran school the activity continued with the ceremony of graduation closing of this year, which included students from kindergarten, elementary and Junior School. As part of the ceremony Mr. Guadalupe Zamora delivered a certificate of recognition to Christ For All The Nations / JOEL Project for their support to this school. CCCS also received a certificate of recognition for their support. As part of the activity the students presented with great joy and gratitude folk dances, performe musical pieces in marimba, etc..

WHat a joy!

The students of Elementary School Sonia Rincon San Agustin finally took their Bibles to home!. This was possible thanks project "A Gift of Hope." The closing took place on September 27, our Director Rebeca de Franco and Maria Rebeca Franco from Project JOEL volunteer, leaded the activity.

The event was full of smiles, games, surprises and a prayer of thanks giving to God for all the blessings that this project will bring to their lives and their families.The teachers and the principal of school thanked to Lutheran Hour Ministries Guatemala (Christ For All The Nations) for this project. 72 students received their certificate for having completed the Bible study course "Father has not a comparison." Our desire for students is that they treasure the word of God and share it with their families. Having done this today is allowing us to sow a harvest in the future of all of them and that the word of God is in the family life of these children. "Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness," 2 Corinthians 9:10

CPTLN Guatemala is very grateful with the wonderful people that God put in their hearts to make the project "A Gift of Hope" possible and the donation of the bibles because is the best and wonderful book in the world: THE WORD OF GOD

KIDS'S DAY CELEBRATION IN LA DEMOCRACIA PARK

Lic. Evelin de Coto Project Your Person invited us to participate to Celebrate Kid's Day in La Democracia Park on Saturday October 1st from 8:00 am at 3:00 p.m.

What nice words: "Let the little children come unto Me and don not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14, KIDS, KIDS, KIDS..... they are an inheritance from the Lord, they are little but they are growing in this world full of difficulties, but if we all come together to share with them love, hope, respect to God, they will became in the future of tomorrow, where over time we will reap all these good results, for this reason Lutheran Hour Ministries Guatemala (Christo For All The Nations) shared with them in their day. More than 265 children attended and received the booklet "My Little Book of Counseling", young people and parents of the children also received booklets with various topics, the bracelets were given to children who were very interested and also shared to them the Evangelistic Cube.

Our task as a ministry is to Equip, Reach Out and Engage: in this event this was possible because more than 20 volunteers were helping us, young enthusiasts who are named Smiles Factory helped in write data and give the booklets to the kids, who equipped them to explain the plan of salvation using the evangelistic bracelets donated by Concordia Lutheran Church in Pullman Washington, also Evangelistic Cube was explained to the young.

In the event CPTLN donated three prizes for the children who participated in special activities which included a Bible course and the movie The little shepherd, which were gave by the hands of our director Rebeca de Franco, We also to raise funds carrying articles of our Christian bookstore.

Continuing with the celebration of kids's day, de Franco was in front of her home home, on Sunday October 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the same place where the Guatemala City Hall has the activity Pedals and Steps on Avenida Simeon Canas where de Franco gave to 50 children the booklet "My Little Book of Counseling".

La Iglesia Luterana La Resurrección en Zacapa solicitó la colaboración evangelística de este Ministerio para acompañar a un Grupo Misionero de la Iglesia Luterana San Pablo de Wisconsin, USA, que del 25 al 28 de julio de 2011 realizaron una Jornada Médica en San Pablo Zacapa.

Part of the Missionary Group built a house that was donated to the family of Mr. Edwin Arnoldo Molina, who also worked shoulder to shoulder with the Missionary Group, his wife, Mrs. Xiomara Ramos Jordan and his three sons, Edwin, Christian and Jeferson received with tears in their eyes and with deep gratitude the keys of the new house. Pastor Gerardo Vasquez, the missionary group, brother Ramiro Peñate, Karla Peña, members of Resurrection Lutheran Church also attended the dedication service of the house.

Another part of this missionary group leaded the Vacation Bible School by evening to reach children of this village, talking about the care that God wants us to have of our planet; during this time the children sang, did crafts, played and had a very nutrional snack. Approximately 100 children attended this activity. Our Director Rebeca de Franco gave to all of them the last day as a gift the booklet "My Little Book of Counseling"

On Sunday 24 at 7 pm de Franco was invited to attend the service of the Lutheran Church Jesus the Good Shepherd located in El Maguey Zacapa. Pastor Ared Rodríguez leaded the service. At the end the people who attended the service received booklets from CPTLN.

We thank God because when we join efforts: local Lutheran Church, Lutheran Missionary Groups and CPTLN we are giving a good testimony and many people receive blessings for this.

MEDICAL CONFERENCE HELD IN SAN PABLO ZACAPA

Resurrection Lutheran Church in Zacapa requested the collaboration of this Ministry to accompany a missionary group from St. Paul Lutheran Church Wisconsin, USA, from July 25 to July 28, 2011 for a medical journey developed in San Pablo, Zacapa.

Our Director Rebeca Franco and Gerardo Vasquez pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church shared the message of hope with the 433 patients attended, using the evangelistic cube and the evangelistic bracelets donated by the brothers of Concordia Lutheran Church in Pullman Washington, all pacients also received our booklets with different topics, Rebeca de Franco sometimes translated for the missionary group. The Medical Journey schedule was from 9 am to 5 pm, the brothers of the Church of St. Paul of Wisconsin showed an excellent organization and love receiving all these needed people. Many of them came from far away areas traveling hours by horse, bicycle, and walking.

We thank God because when we join efforts: local Lutheran Church, Lutheran Missionary Groups and CPTLN we are giving a good testimony and many people receive blessings for this.

KIDS'S DAY CELEBRATION IN LA DEMOCRACIA PARK N, they are an inheritance from the Lord, are small they are growing in the midst of a world full of difficulties, but if we all come together to share with them love, hope, fear God, come to the future of tomorrow, where over time we will reap all these good results, so CPTLN shared with them in their day. More than 265 children arrived and received the booklet "My Little Book of Advice", young people and parents of the children also received booklets with various themes, the bracelets were given to children who were very interested and they shared the EvangeCube. Our task as a ministry is to equip, Reaching and Engaging in this event this was possible because more than 20 volunteers were helping us, young enthusiasts who are named Sound Factory helped in data collection and delivery of flyers, who are equipped them to explain the plan of salvation using the evangelistic bracelets donated by Concordia Lutheran Church in Pullman Washington, also EvangeCube was explained to the young. Within the activity CPTLN donated three prizes for the children who participated in special activities which included a Bible course and the movie The shepherds, which were delivered by the hands of our director Rebecca Franco, took the opportunity to raise funds carrying articles our Christian bookstore.
